Getting Started

The study shell is the first step in entering the protocol into CCE. Naming the study, reviewing various fields and adding visits are the foundational pieces. Read more

Elements are tasks or procedures that need to be completed within a visit. The elements for a study can be created on an as needed basis or by using the Element Library. Arms are added to show different paths for groups of participants through a study. This could be for different visits or treatments. To access arms, select Study Arms from the Protocol and Notes tab.  Read more

In Clinical Conductor, an Engagement is the link between a study and a site. After the instance has been configured to link to CCS, sites may be added. Each site that has a link to the study becomes an engagement.   Read more

Key dates are the overall milestone dates associated with the study. There are two sets of key dates available and may be configured and tracked in CCE, Study key dates and Engagement key dates. Examples of key dates would be Site Initiation Meeting, Enrollment Open and Enrollment Close. Study key dates are managed in CCE are associated directly with the overall study project timeline and located on the Management tab on the Study Details page.  Engagement key dates are managed in CCE and are associated with the engaged sites project timeline. They are located from the Configure Site Engagement under the Management tab.    Read more
