CCE 420: Contract Terms, Screen Fails and Budget Cap Rules

During the course of a study, patients may drop, screen fail, run-in fail or non-qualify. Sponsors often have specific requirements in place for payment on visits with these terminal statuses. This includes limiting, or capping, the number of times the sponsor pays for a given procedure for a patient across the life of the study.
