Getting Started

After the initial protocol build with visits and elements, there are many options in CCE to consider for budget purposes. When building a new study, several types of settings or values can be configured to reflect study budgets, contract terms, reimbursements, and other financial default settings. Read more

During the course of a study, patients may drop, screen fail, run-in fail or non-qualify. Sponsors often have specific requirements in place for payment on visits with these terminal statuses. This includes limiting, or capping, the number of times the sponsor pays for a given procedure for a patient across the life of the study. Clinical Conductor supports contract terms and managing of adjustments of that activity. This course guides users on steps for setting up terms as well as reconciliations and budget caps prior to invoicing. Read more

Clinical Conductor supports both chargemaster and coverage analysis functionality by helping manage finances over the lifetime of the trial. This course guides you through configuring the element library where the chargemaster is built and research routine/cost allocation for coverage analysis. Read more

Clinical Conductor Enterprise (CCE) allows users to invoice a study sponsor or CRO for study-related expenses. Invoicing is completed from within a study in CCE, either from the Invoices page or the Financial Activity page. These steps work in conjunction with the Payments workflow after an invoice has been created. This interactive module outlines how to create and track invoices and expenditures, customize invoice templates, and view invoice reports from different locations within the system. Read more

Payments received from a sponsor or CRO can be tracked in Clinical Conductor against accrued revenue in general or specifically itemized against completed activities. Clinical Conductor Enterprise (CCE) provides full oversight of these payments, which are logged and tracked at the study level. This interactive module outlines the CCE payments process and its associated workflows. Read more

Engagement budgets are typically used when there is a different budget for the visit and the elements based upon where the study is being run, which then overrides the study-level amounts. This gives you the ability to set up project-level finances for your visit and elements based on the site. Engagement budgets can be used for multi-site engagements as well as any sponsors or CROs. This course walks through setting up engagement budgets for multiple sites. Read more
